Leading towards recovery will be the key theme of the series, which is currently under development. We are working to make it hugely topical and relevant to assist senior officers in these uncertain times.
Each session is 1 hour in duration and consists of two parts both live. The first 30 minutes of panel discussion will also be recorded and available on demand afterwards. For the second 30 minutes, recording will be turned off and the live Q&A will be under the Chatham House Rule.
In the safe environment offered by the Chatham House Rule, we will facilitate frank and open discussion on the lessons learnt from the pandemic and the significant issues now facing us including:
- Overcoming our post-pandemic challenges
- Devolution and structure: the battle to secure new powers
- Withstanding financial pressure
- Leadership to create a fair society
- Reviving local economies
The programme for the LGC Summit series has been designed to include a wide variety of topical options enabling you to join the content sessions relevant to you, with dedicated opportunities for you to participate and contribute virtually.
