Neeru is a devoted place and development collaborator with over 25 years’ experience in the field of Planning and the Built Environment. She is an experienced strategic planner with a successful track record in place-making and regeneration in local government. She is committed to public service and specialises in providing leadership support to Local Planning Authorities and is currently Assistant Director for Planning & Building Control in Barnet, one of the busiest LPAs in the country. In her role she is navigating planning reforms whilst maintaining momentum on ambitious growth projects including planning oversight for Barnet’s flagship regeneration at Brent Cross and Edgware Town Centre. Neeru is committed to building new relationships across professional sectors to deliver the best possible outcomes for local communities.
