Kate Ogden is a Senior Research Economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), the UK’s leading independent economics research institute. She works on English local government finance, and the distribution of spending on public services across places, and across people. She also works on higher education and student finance, and previously worked as an economist at the Cabinet Office.
