About the event

Provided on a secure easy-to-access platform, our virtual sessions will achieve the LGC Summit’s objectives of driving the debate, sharing inspiration and offering insight as you work to devise plans to help your council support your local community.

By delivering the sessions over a week in November 2020, it’s easier for you to commit time within your hectic schedule.

Each session is 1 hour in duration and consists of two parts both live. The first 30 minutes of panel discussion will also be recorded and available on demand afterwards. For the second 30 minutes, recording will be turned off and the live Q&A will be under the Chatham House Rule.

Our virtual sessions will help you to work together with your peers and providers to create solutions for your community. The event will include:

  • Content at your convenience – either watch live or on demand afterwards. You can also watch sessions again if there’s any parts you’ve missed!
  • An easy to access platform available for longer so you can grow your network of attendees before and after the event
  • A choice of expert-led discussion sessions so you can join the debate most relevant to you focusing on how you can effect a real difference in your area.
  • Targeted networking enabling you to meet with relevant contacts from organisations throughout the UK wherever you are
